Flexible learning scenarios and strategies in connected environments based on educational co-design and generative artificial intelligence

COPLITELE-IA is founded on the possibilities of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in education as a support tool for teachers in the processes of design and co-design of learning. The project aims to develop and analyse flexible learning scenarios and strategies in connected environments, based on educational co-design and mediated by GenAI, in order to optimise teaching-learning processes and strengthen both teachers’ professional agency and students’ academic agency in higher education.
The project builds on and enriches the results of previous research (EDU2017-84223-R and PID2020-113101RB-I00) by exploring: a) the elements of educational co-design and academic agency that can be enhanced by GenAI; b) the potential of GenAI as a support tool for educational co-design in higher education; and c) the design, implementation and validation of co-design and personalisation strategies through GenAI-mediated flexible learning pathways.
